A great read! The author captures the essence of the male/female relationship. Actually, this author seems to know the female psyche so well that I feel embarrassed. And, I'm now quite suspicious of former boyfriends. "Wedded Bless" just rings so true! The story, as in life, doesn't always turn out how you think it will!!!
I didn't quite expect to see anything from the gentleman who goes by the pseudonym of J.S.Beck up on quite so soon, but this initial CreateSpace offering--a short story with enough compelling yet unpredictable twists and turns to impress even Edgar Allan Poe--shows great promise for the works that may follow from this new central West Virginia author. He combines a working knowledge of the Mountain State's legal system with a sense of the macabre and a wry, sardonic humor that is not easily forgotten once read.
Different perspectives kept my attention but it needed more suspense. It's short and sweet to say the least about this short story.
